The Roosters have been dealt a blow in their bid to topple Penrith for a second time this season withAngus Crichton ruled out of the clash.
Salesi Foketi will replace the NSW and Australian star in the starting side, with Taylor Losalu added to the bench.
The Roosters are optimistic Crichton's injury is only minor and hope he will be available for next week's Anzac Day clash with the Dragons.
Penrith have received a major boost with hooker Mitch Kenny cleared to make his return from a shoulder injury in Saturday's match.
The dummy half will take his place in the starting side for the game at Allianz Stadium after missing last week's loss to the Dolphins.

Warriors: James Fisher-Harris faces at least a month out with a pectoral injury so Jackson Ford goes to the front row. Fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad has entered the concussion protocols so Taine Tuaupiki moves to No.1 and Ed Kosi comes in on the wing. Te Maire Martin has been added to the bench for his first game of the season. Centre Adam Pompey plays his 100th NRL game. No changes in Friday's 24-hour update, with Tanah Boyd and Tanner Stowers-Smith remaining in the extended squad.
Broncos: A double blow for Jack Gosiewski with a one-game suspension for a careless high tackle compounded by a broken arm suffered at training. He has had surgery and is expected to be out for eight weeks. Jordan Riki returns after serving a one-game ban. A new face on the bench with Tyson Smoothy coming in for his first game since Round 20 last year in place of Martin Taupau. The Broncos remain 1-17, with Deine Mariner and Taupau keeping their spots in the reserves.

Roosters:The Roosters have been dealt a blow on match-eve, with Angus Crichton ruled out of the clash. Salesi Foketi will replace the NSW and Australian star in the starting side, with Taylor Losalu added to the bench. After returning from a cheekbone injury via the bench last week, Victor Radley has been named to start at lock. Mark Nawaqanitawase is back from a calf injury to fill the void left by Billy Smith's suspension. Trent Robinson is chasing his 200th win as an NRL coach.
Panthers: Hooker Mitch Kenny returns after missing the loss to the Dolphins with a shoulder injury while playmaker Jack Cole has been listed among the reserves as he looks to return from concussion. Youngster Casey McLean and the versatile Luke Garner are the new centres with Izack Tago moved to the bench and Thomas Jenkins to the wing. Nathan Cleary needs four points to break Ryan Girdler’s club record of 1572 points that has stood since 2004. No changes in Friday's team update, with Daine Laurie and Mavrik Geyer remaining in the extended squad.

Titans: Skipper Tino Fa'asuamaleaui is back from suspension while winger Jojo Fifita (thigh) and bench forward Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui (ankle) are also back on deck. After being moved into the starting side last week and playing 74 minutes straight and running for 203 metres, David Fifita is again set to start the game. The Titans have not defeated the Raiders at Cbus Super Stadium since 2018.
Raiders: Back-rower Zac Hosking returns after missing four games with a hand injury so Simi Sasagi drops to the reserves in the only change to the side that downed the Eels. Veteran Josh Papalii has been named on the bench but could well find his way into the starting side come game day.

Wests Tigers: With Lachlan Galvin set to line up for Western Suburbs earlier in the day at Lidcombe Oval, Jarome Luai and Adam Doueihi make up the new halves combination. Brent Naden is back from a knee injury and slides into Doueihi's centre spot. The Tigers have won their last three games against the Eels at Commbank Stadium.
Eels: Skipper Mitch Moses is back two weeks ahead of schedule and lines up for his first game of the season having recovered from a stress fracture to his foot. Prop Jack Williams is also back early from a knee injury while Kelma Tuilagi returns in the back row. Veterans Joe Ofahengaue, Ryan Matterson and Shaun Lane were all demoted to NSW Cup. Ofahengaue has since been released to join Leigh in Super League, while Lane is taking time away from the game to consider his future.
